Assembly/Deburring Day Shift

Summary: Associates are required to perform various assembly and deburring operations on machined parts required by customer order. Duties and Responsibilities: This job includes but is not limited to the following: Visually inspects, sands, deburrs, washs, and packs parts per verbal and written instructions using various tools and equipment. Visually inspects, assembles, and packs parts per verbal and written instructions. Inspects parts after assembly using various measuring tools and equipment and reports any non-conformances. Accurately document and record part inventory. Recommend and help implement any improvements that could be made to the existing process. Maintains production rate in terms of quantity and quality assigned to the job. Ensure a safe work environment is maintained, appropriate safety systems/processes are utilized, and ensure compliance with all OSHA and other state/federal safety and environmental related rules and regulations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment through 5-S controls (willing to learn 5-S controls). Perform other associated duties as needed to continue the productive operation of the company. Comply with all company and corporate systems and procedures as applicable for your area of responsibility. Position Requirements: Must be able to read and understand written instructions. Must be able to communicate well with others. Must have good manual dexterity. Must be able to stand and do repetitive operations for eight or more hours. Must be able achieve extreme high quality surface finish requirements driven by the customers requirements using various tools and equipment. Must be able to lift 35 LBS. Must be detail orientated. Must be willing to learn how to use precision measuring equipment.
