The Treasury Operations Specialist I position provides support for all electronic banking products including but not limited to, Net Teller, online accounts and other electronic products and services. This position completes a range of duties of varying abilities to include but not limited to; researching, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to all Treasury Management (TM) products and services. The Treasury Operations Specialist I position will provide initial training, support, and ongoing servicing for all electronic banking products for internal and external customers. This position is responsible for meeting critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
The Treasury Operations Specialist I will work independently, as well as in cross-functional teams with various levels of knowledge. These cross-functional teams assist internal support staff to accomplish position/department/customer goals within regulatory/policy guidelines. Will also serve as a liaison maintaining a professional, customer service-oriented demeanor in all contact.
Duties and Responsibilies Description:
Technical Skills:
- NetTeller:
- Responsible for the set-up of new NetTeller customers.
- Provides thorough NetTeller support.
- Reviews dormant/closed NetTeller accounts.
- Prepares required documents for Net Teller setups.
- Responsible for NetTeller maintenance.
- Responsible to research complex Treasury Operations issues.
- Cash/Treasury Management:
- Responsible for a basic understanding of our Treasury Management products, services, and benefits they provide to our customers.
- Technical Support:
- Ability to research, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues within Treasury Operations systems and products.
- Responsible for maintaining and accessing Synergy Scanning for all Treasury Operations documents.
- Responsible for setting up all basic Treasury Operations products and services for both internal and external customers.
Customer Relations:
- Responsible for adhering to Western Security Banks Mission, Vision, and Service Principals.
- Provide superior internal and external customer service. Must demonstrate self-governance, courtesy, and respect toward both internal and external customers.
- Must be knowledgeable on all aspects of the Treasury Operations products and services. Must communicate requests and product information in a manner that is understood by the customer.
- Is required to demonstrate a “customers come first” approach when prioritizing tasks.
- Provides and maintains a professional, courteous, service-oriented relationship with all internal and external customers.

- A minimum of 1 year banking experience.
- Previous deposit service expereince preferred.
Required Skills and Abilites
- Working knowledge of Cash/Treasury Management agreements.
- Strong interpersonal communications skills including customer service orientation and strong listening skills.
- The ability to operate computer applications related to the position.
- Performs complex banking tasks that require logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and solve or draw conclusions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and attention to detail skills
- Ability to work well under pressure with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Must have the ability to work in a professional manner and consistently demonstrate courtesy, customer service, and tact in a fast-paced/deadlines-oriented environment.
