Interstate Power Systems is looking for an experienced Allison Transmission Service Mechanic for our Billings Montana location. We are offering highly competitive wages!
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Allison Transmission Service Mechanics to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to diagnose, remove, repair, and maintain heavy-duty Allison transmissions used in commercial vehicles, such as trucks, buses, and heavy-duty equipment. The ideal candidate will have specialized knowledge of Allison transmissions and a proven track record of delivering high-quality service.

Allison Transmission Mechanic/Technician Job Duties:
- Primary focus on Transmission related issues
- Diesel engines and bumper-to-bumper truck repairs
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair transmission non-conformance.
- Diagnose and repair basic equipment wiring.
- Performs other routine duties.
Allison Transmission Mechanic/Technician Desired Skills, Qualities and Requirements:
- Positive attitude and the ability to set goals and accomplish them.
- The desire to take advantage of certification opportunities to have the most updated product training.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- High school degree or equivalent
- Technical degree or Allison certification a plus
- Minimum of 5 years experience working with Allison transmissions
- Be able to work with diagnostic computers for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Must be physically able to lift and work with no restrictions.
