Fairgrounds Maintenance

The employer is hiring for a full-time permanent Fairgrounds Maintenance position. The wage is $19.60/hr DOE. Will perform a variety of ground and building maintenance for the fairgrounds. This includes physical labor and technical duties in the operations of the fairgrounds. Must be able to operate various types of machines and heavy equipment. Will be required to work outside of normal hours and in adverse weather conditions. Will have constant contact with the public to provide information, direction and collection of rent. Will provide general maintenance of all grounds and buildings on the fairgrounds and will perform roofing, basic electrical work, basic plumbing, carpentry, welding, cement work, and upkeep of grounds and roads. Must have a high school diploma, a course from a trade school or 2-5 years of work experience in a similar job. Experience with construction, maintenance, and equipment is preferred.
