Job Title: Quality Control Technician
Job Description
We are hiring for a quality control technician to support a large food manufacturer. The role involves performing plant GMP audits, determining root cause analysis, and performing quality checks for quality assurance programs. Responsibilities include analytical lab calibrations and testing on products, conducting testing for pH, color, consistency, texture, and sensory testing (taste). The technician will also conduct critical control point verifications to ensure HACCP compliance, inspect packaging throughout the shift, and perform glass, brittle, and plastic inspections. Reviewing in-process paperwork to ensure GDP requirements is also part of the job.
Hard Skills
Experience working in food manufacturing
Experience in quality control
Experience with HACCP
Experience with analytical lab testing (pH, total acid, Brix, starch moisture, Fisher)
BS in sciences preferred
Soft Skills
