Job Title: Shipping Lead
Job Description
Manage 10-15 employees. Ensure employees are taking breaks at the correct times and coming back on time. Ensure all employees have the proper PPE for the start of their shift. Lead daily employee start-up meetings. Ensure paperwork is filled out for the department and turned in each day at the end of the shift. Prioritize loads based on customer needs. Handle disciplines, write-ups, attendance, accountability, coaching, training, week one packets for new hires, employee observations (monthly), area audits, and dock audits. Ensure the work area is clean and organized. Report any issues to supervisors that arise.
