Job Description

Operate multiple manual lathe machines throughout the shop to create and repair boat components. You need to be mechanically inclined and own a set of micrometers and calipers.

Work on bearings, brass, iron, and duramax materials

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Hahnville, Louisiana.

Work Environment

Boat yard – working outside in any conditions including extreme heat and cold, rain, snow. Must be extremely cautious of PPE requirements in each section of the shipyard – safety/PPE violations lead to immediate termination. Second shift is responsible for working Monday through Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:30 AM. Weekends and overtime are assigned as needed.2
