Performs administrative office support-related work for department staff, the general public, and one or more projects and specialized programs. Work requires contact with high-level managers, executives, governmental officials and private entities. May serve as a lead worker. Employees at this level establish their own work plan and priorities to meet set objectives. Issues are rarely referred to the supervisor but are handled at the occurrence.Essential Duties:A day in the life of an Office manager III may include:Administrative work to support an area office on one or more projects, this may include answering phones, internal and external customer contact, and dealing with Government officials.Providing technical assistance to others using computers and associated software.Analyzing and organizing data, record keeping and inventory.Creating and maintaining a variety of activity logs.Processing receipts and invoices for payment.Preparing, and maintaining confidential and sensitive records and files.Supporting our safety programWorld class customer service.Other duties as assigned.Office manager IV could also be a lead worker
