Journeyman Electrician

As a Journeyman Electrician with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, youll support commercial and industrial electrical contractors in the Austin, TX area.

Note: The hourly rate for this position is $30 – $38 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employees pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.

Responsibilities:

Ability to read and interpret electrical prints

Ability to perform electrical tests, read results, and diagnose and repair electrical problems

Proficient in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and making repairs promptly

Proficient in installing electrical panel systems, conduit, wiring, and fixtures

Proficient in working with hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment

 Qualifications:

Current/active TDLR Journeyman Electrician license

OSHA-10 Certification

Must be able to pass a background check
