JOB IS LOCATED IN ODESSA TEXAS

We are hiring a Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector for a manufacturer and fabricator of pipe joining, fittings, and valves. The QA Inspector will check blueprints, verify documents, and double-check procedures to streamline manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include administrative tasks for documentation, using both written and computer logging. The role involves inspecting pipes, valves, fittings, and couplings to ensure they adhere to specifications and coordinating with managers to document and maintain standards. This position is based in Houston, with an anticipated move to Dallas in late 2024. Relocation packages will be offered to employees willing to move.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 560 Hour(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Odessa, Texas.

Work Environment

Manufacturing environment, clean, non-climate controlled but equipped with large fans. The facility includes assembly/fabrication and warehouse distribution areas. About 12 total shop employees currently, including CNC machinists, QC Technicians, Manufacturing trainers, Assemblers, and Machine Operators. The dress code includes steel toes, jeans, work shirt, safety glasses, and high visibility vest. The role is 1st shift, 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime and weekends are possible based on production needs and specific projects.
