DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Clerk Typist 2, you will tend to receptionist duties at the Lock Haven satellite office such as answering and processing incoming phone calls, greeting and directing clients and visitors, and reaching out to the appropriate parties regarding building issues or technical office related concerns. You will also conduct secretarial tasks to include typing a variety of correspondence, maintaining filing systems, maintaining appointment schedules for the board room, and ordering office and janitorial supplies as necessary. Within this role, it is essential to exercise consistent confidentiality when communicating with others, as well as being mindful to conceal documentation or paperwork on the desk while assisting visitors.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Six months as a Clerk Typist 1 and educational development to the level of eighth grade; or
Completion of a high school business curriculum which included at least one typing course; or
Any combination of equivalent experience and training.

Hiring preference for this vacancy may be given to candidates who live within Centre, Clinton, Columbia, Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Sullivan, or Union counties. If no eligible candidates who live within these counties apply for this position, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered.
