The Director US Oncology Marketing Channel Strategy & Engagement Innovation Lead Primary Responsibilities
Set the US Oncology organization’s vision and realization plan for the evolution of digital /omnichannel customer engagement strategies and drive alignment with US Oncology Marketing Leaders /supporting teams
Define and drive realization of organizational requirements for the evolution of existing and new, innovative digital customer strategies to support and execute engagement strategies with key customers, including supporting marketing automation and personalized educational content initiatives
Lead a team identifying, evaluating, and piloting innovative third-party media strategies and engagement channels vendor partnerships to ensure our Company’s customer engagement strategies remain best-in-class. This includes managing the development and review process for new channel standards, privacy/legal reviews, etc.
Partner closely with Omnichannel capability Teams (NBE, CDP, N=1, etc.) to drive CS&E specific requirements and ensure new/evolving capabilities are meeting their business needs / pain points, including successfully designing and implementing new GTM approaches that support full digital orchestration for upcoming Alliances partnerships
Stay abreast of leading trends in digital marketing, customer experience, marketing automation; including shifting privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and digital security landscape (email bots) that will have a meaningful impact of our Company Oncologys Omnichannel promotional efforts and require the development and implementation of mitigation strategies
In partnership with US Media Team; set the vision and drive Media Contracting Innovation for US Oncology, including defining business needs for smaller, targeted media buys to enable true omnichannel personalization and as well as evaluate opportunities to install a Pay for Performance media purchasing/planning structure
Coach and develop a team of Customer Engagement Architects to increase executional excellence and prepare them for a career at our Companytaking on new roles of increasing responsibility
Train /Mentor new team members to ensure rapid upskilling in WoW and create an environment for initial success
Education Minimum Requirements
Required: Bachelors degree
Desired: Masters degree
Required Experience and Skills
Minimum of twelve (12) years marketing strategy, customer experience, multi-channel marketing with an emphasis on omnichannel engagementstrategy that optimizes overall customer experience to drive business results.
Understanding of US Healthcare Systems, including the nature of business interactions & dynamics between payers, regulators, physicians, and plan members
Minimum of 8 years in Customer Engagement experience and/or Brand Marketing and knowledge of the end-to-end marketing and promotional process
Excellence in change management and demonstrated ability to work in complex organizations across hierarchical lines
Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem solving, analytical critical thinking and planning skills
Proficient at leading diverse cross functional teams without formal authority and effectively engaging senior management
Demonstrated strength to function and influence others effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, with frequently changing priorities
Strong business acumen with ability to translate complex concepts clearly and concisely to broad audiences.
Excellent leadership and communication skills (written & verbal)

Director Level of Marketing or equivalent from Agency/Consultancy
Digital /Omnichannel Media Planning and Purchasing
Oncology pharmaceutical marketing experience
Omnichannel marketing experience
Omnichannel marketing engagement analytics evolution / Learning agenda evolution / Channel Attribution modeling & impact assessment forecasting/retro analysis
Agile development team experience
Knowledge in process development and optimization
Ability to manage ambiguity and to adapt to the changing needs of our customers and the business
