Where you’ll work:
You will work onsite in Crystal City, VA initially and then transition to onsite in Manassas, VA within the first year.
An average day:
As Business Analyst II, you will support a large enterprise effort within a complex environment consisting of domestic and international infrastructures and data centers. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. The Business Analyst II will contribute to the implementation of solutions that improve operational efficiency and support the objectives of federal contracts. Additionally, in this position you will:
Assist in requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to identify and document business needs and objectives.
Analyze and map business processes to identify opportunities for enhancement and efficiency.
Contribute to the development of business requirements documentation (BRD) and functional specifications for project initiatives.
Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
Support the execution of test plans to validate the functionality and performance of implemented solutions.
Facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure understanding and support for proposed changes.
Assist in preparing project status reports, risk assessments, and impact analyses.
Participate in the creation of training materials and user documentation to support system implementations.
Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to recommend enhancements.
Ensure adherence to federal regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Basic Qualifications:
As a requirement of this position, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen. In accordance with 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(2)(C) , Epsilon will not consider candidates for this position who do not meet the aforementioned conditions.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in federal contracting or a large enterprise environment.
Familiarity with business analysis methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Understanding of data center operations and infrastructure management.
Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
Basic knowledge of data modeling and process mapping techniques.
Familiarity with database concepts and data analysis (e.g., SQL, Excel).
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
Awareness of compliance and regulatory standards in a federal context (e.g., FISMA, NIST).
Other Requirements:
Must have an active Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
Will be subject to a federal background investigation.
