Humana Healthy Horizons in Virginia is seeking Learning Facilitators/Preceptors (Learning Facilitation Professional 2s) who will conduct or facilitate training courses for the organization employees or external audiences.
Plans, coordinates, and implements all aspects of training programs for participants throughout the organization, including but not limited to instructor-led and virtual instructor-led training.
Selects appropriate materials.
Creates an environment that is conducive to learning and exchanging information, engages the learner, and produces the desired outcomes.
Monitors training personnel records to ensure that employees have met all company training requirements for company, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Analyzes course evaluations to judge effectiveness of training sessions and to implement suggestions for improvements.
Evaluates the relevance of online resources to complement the facilitated experience in the fields as appropriate.
Understands own work area professional concepts/standards, regulations, strategies, and operating standards.
Work is managed and often guided by precedent and/or documented procedures/regulations/professional standards with some interpretation.
Supports the Audit and Process Improvement teams by providing feedback to Care Coordinators and/or Service Coordinators; uses audits to guide staff understanding of training that was provided.
Supports precepting activities of Care Coordination and Service Coordination in the field. Ensures that field staff demonstrate compliance of all care management activities.
Participates in Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) virtual and/or in-person trainings.
Makes decisions regarding own work approach/priorities and follows direction.

Required Qualifications
Must reside in the Commonwealth of Virginias Medicaid Roanoke/Alleghany Region or Western/Charlottesville Region.
Must be able to travel up to 75% in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Bachelors degree in social work, psychology, behavioral Health, or a related field OR Licensed Registered Nurse(RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a valid unrestricted license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Two (2) or more years of training in an adult learning environment OR two (2) or more years successfully working as a care manager/care coordinator/service coordinator.
Minimum intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Effective communicator, verbally and written.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external departments and leadership.
This role is part of Humanas driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state drivers license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits.
This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humanas Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

Understanding of curriculum design and adult learning principles.
Experience using a wide variety of training tools to effectively facilitate to a wide audience.
Experience managing projects or processes.
Additional Information
Workstyle: This is a remote position that will require you to travel.
Travel: Up to 75% of the time to Humana Healthy Horizons office in Glen Allen, VA and within the six Medicaid Regions in Virginia for collaboration and face to face meetings as well as field interactions with staff, members, and their families.
Workdays and Hours: Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time (EST).

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$52,500 – $72,300 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
