Police Officer

Minimum age 21 years; benefits to be discussed. Pay to $10.00/$12.00 per hour depending on certification. Requires valid drivers license. Must be able to pass a physical ability test, drug test, medical test/physical, and criminal background check. Must attend State Police Academy for training upon hire. Must be available to work days, evenings and nights as scheduled, including weekends and holidays. Duties include maintaining order, enforcing laws and ordinances, and protecting life and property. Will patrol area by foot and vehicle, direct traffic, issue traffic summons, investigate accidents, apprehend and arrest suspects, serve legal processes of courts, and perform other duties as assigned.
