Hiring for Electrical Control Technician

Direct Placement

Pay: $34-$42/HR

Schedule : both day and night shift work 7-7

Days – 2,2,3 rotation

Nights – 5,2,2,5 – Work Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday – Off Monday, Tuesday – Work Wednesday, Thursday – Off Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday

Reason for opening: project to expand production and bring in new equipment

Process: Electric feeders that takes raw material through vacuum systems, sheet conveyors, thin/cut/dye, making wipes

Preferred Skills:

Siemens PLC

Extensive troubleshooting, understand logic, remote capabilities, contacts, analog signals, drives VFDs

Utility experience or reactor experience

SCADA exp preferred

Additional Skills & Qualifications

This is a heavy industrial environment. Need someone who has experience with 480 volts, building motors, knows the difference between discreet bit and internal bit contact. Experience working with VFDs. Someone who can troubleshoot PLCs by remoting in with a laptop. Understanding of ladder logic. Prefers someone with Siemens PLC experience but can train if they only have AB. Would love to have someone with medium voltage experience ranging from 4k volts to 13k volts. SCADA experience is preferred. Candidates with experience as nuclear sub-marines where they run reactors could fit. Also candidates with experience in utilities/water system service.
