Admission Coordinator

Under the supervision of the Administrator and according to established policies and procedures, performs a variety of duties associated with facility marketing, referral prospecting, clinical evaluation, admission coordination, and processing. Work is of a confidential nature. Performs other work of the department as required.
Minimum Education
High school diploma (or equivalent); Associate’s degree in secretarial science preferred.
One to two years of previous experience in a long-term care or related area is required.
Knowledge of federal and state programs is required.
Experience in interpreting and applying federal and state programs in long term care is preferred.
