Accounts Receivable Specialist
Aston Carter
Description:
– Oversees the calculating, posting, & verifying duties related to accounts receivable to obtain and record financial data (i.e., posts and emails invoices and applies – cash received against outstanding customer invoices.)
– Creates and posts credit memos as needed.
– Runs periodic customer AR aging reports and reviews delinquent accounts to ensure appropriate steps are made to collect.
– Assists with financial information required for annual audits, CPAs, and needed professional services.
– Posts general ledger journal entries as required.
– Update the cash flow spreadsheet to match the bank ledger balance.
– Calculates monthly commission payments
– Update the tooling log with customer payment status
– Assists in entering non-AP invoices
– Prioritizes work to meet goals and deadlines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
2-3 years of AR experience
Bachelors degree (preferred but not required)
