Production Control Specialist

Description:
– Support activities related to product launch, model changes and ECI/ECN implementation activities.
– Manage supplier kanban system.
– Support shipping and receiving activities (as needed.)
– Complete requisitions for appropriate approvals and account numbers.
– Work closely with Production Control department team members to ensure supplies and parts arrive as planned.
– Trace (expedite) delinquent arrivals for all supplier purchase orders and/or part ordering manifests.
– Mitigate expedite shipments to limit company exposure and impact to annual profit plan.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Greater than 4 years of Production Control experience in a manufacturing facility required. Automotive environment preferred. Tier 1 experience a plus.
Experienced in working with MRP, MES and parts ordering system and applications.
Experience in Toyota or Mazda launch systems and requirements preferred.
Previous exposure to a multicultural office environment preferred.
