Duties and Responsibilities]{.underline}
– Maintain proficiency in the diagnostics and repair of all assigned equipment.
– Assist senior technician in the completion of project work
– Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and modifications to assigned equipment.
– Read and comprehend service troubleshooting guides using OEM software
– Maintain a basic level of skill in diesel after treatment, air brakes, electrical and lighting systems.
– Perform daily yard checks
– Perform safety and annual inspections in accordance with FMCSA regulations
– Install, mount, and dismount tires
– Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns during working hours as needed
– Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with company/OSHA standards
– Interact courteously and professionally with drivers, vendors, and other employees regarding vehicle repairs and shop business.
– Assist in the completion of required documentation including vehicle write-ups, work orders, and timecards.

– Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent
– Experience with OEM software is preferred
– Brake certification in accordance with FMCSA § 396.25 required
– Basic computer skills such as email and Word
