Position: Parts Counter Associate

Status: Full-time

Location: Flint (Burton), MI

Job Responsibilities:

– Fulfilling general duties, including but not limited to, showroom sales, phone sales, order entry, price quotations, loading/unloading trucks, shipping and receiving of parts and equipment, stocking of products in the showroom and warehouse.
– Taking out garbage, Cleaning bathrooms, Vacuuming floors
– Promoting sales of HVAC replacement components and aftermarket products to our dealer network and mechanical contractors.
– Working closely with CGL departments and outside vendors.
– Utilizing positive communication skills.
– Providing superior customer service to our customers.

Requirements:

– 2 years in HVAC industry.
– Able to lift 70 pounds.
– Self-motivated with organizational skills
– Experience in MS Office, especially Word and Excel
– High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Skills:

– Experience working with contractors and dealers, especially in the residential and/or commercial HVAC industry.
– Knowledge of a distribution environment with counter experience.
– Ability to work with Infor SX, SAP, and other ERP business systems.

Background check, pre-employment physical and drug screen are required.
