JOB REQUIREMENTS: Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provides a
“WOW” experience for our members by presenting a positive, friendly,
and respectful attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond meeting
their needs. Utilizes the Help Culture skills in each member interaction
to focus on member needs in order to maximize their relationship
potential Takes ownership of the member you are servicing. Listens, asks
questions and assists the member through any situation presented
Follows-through with member inquiries and concerns, contacting the
appropriate department or supervisor concerning questions and/or issues
with member accounts Uses a working knowledge of GHCU products and
services to help members with their needs Remains attentive to lobby and
drive-up and provides member assistance where ever needed Contributes to
meeting GHCUs Help Culture goals Processes routine member account
transactions, primarily over the teller line Receives, processes, and
posts member financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and
loan payments Conducts all transactions in accordance with applicable
laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, and the US
Homeland Security and Patriot Act Issues money orders and cashier checks
Opens and redeems CDs, redeems savings bonds Sells and activates gift
cards and Travel Money card, reloads Travel Money card Processes credit
card and cash advances for members and non-members Issues starter checks
Processes Fast Cash advances with checklist Processes loan and credit
card payments Sets up and resets members for online services and CU Talk
Processes Stop Payments and forms Assists members in setting up Direct
Deposit Provides statement printouts to members as requested Answers
phones – directs phone calls, resolves issues, offers products/services
for member needs Performs operational and support functions using
appropriate systems, procedures and protocols Secures, maintains and
balances individual cash drawer, consistently meeting the standards
outlined in the credit unions Cash Variation Policy Processes Shared
Branch transactions and follows procedures of Shared Branching.
Processes over-the-counter, mail and telephone transactions Follows and
remains current on all safety and security practices and procedures
Secondary Duties Performs back office duties including, but not limited
to establishing AFTs and updating account maintenance as required.
Attends training, webinars, etc. to remain current and knowledgeable
Performs other related duties as assigned and requested. The credit
union reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. Working

AND QUALIFICATIONS: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish High
school diploma or GED Experience in cash handling Customer service
experience Ability to communicate effectively in both languages
