DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Central Services Supervisor is responsible
for the supervision and coordination of Central Services / building
operations provided to the Job Center/Human Services Building.
RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL: Responsible for the supervision and coordination
of Central Services / building operations provided to the Job
Center/Human Services Building. The Central Services Supervisor is a
professional staff position working as the lead on a team that will
plan, develop, coordinate, and administer mail, supplies, building
policies, procedures, systems, and training at the Kenosha County
Department of Human Services building. PRINCIPAL DUTIES: 1. Hire, train,
coach and supervise Central Services Program Specialist, Human Services
Navigator and Mail & Supplies Specialist at the Department of Human
Services. 2. Facilitate, the planning, development and coordination of
public information related to building policies, procedures, systems,
Central Services, and training with appropriate representatives, to
support the mission of the Kenosha County Department of Human Services
(KCDHS). 3. Supervise and coordinate mail and supply services, space
planning, and special activity planning at the Job Center / Human
Services Building. 4. Act as liaison between the Division of Information
Technology (IT) and the Kenosha County Department of Human Services.
This includes approval of DHS Add, Change, Delete, move (ACDM) tickets
submitted to IT. 5. Act as liaison between the Purchasing Division and
the Kenosha County Department of Human Services regarding the
rent/lease/purchase of office equipment and furniture. 6. Maintain and
update Job Center/Human Services staff list monthly. Staff list to
include level of employee ID badge access to County buildings; this will
aid with ordering IDs and determining security clearance. 7. Attend
professional meetings and forums, facilitate ad hoc teams and committees
as assigned. 8. Maintain data/records, prepare reports, correspondence
and other documents required to support the building and Central
Services operations and projects, including charts, graphs, statistical
tables, and other presentation materials. 9. Facilitate and maintain
communication with various divisions and partner agencies regarding
building operations and Central Services, as required by the Kenosha
County Department of Human Services. 10. Coordinate and implement a
system of training and orientation sessions for staff, including
safety-related training. 11. Coordinate process for procurement of
Central Services supplies and equipment adhering to established Kenosha
County procurement procedures. 12. Monitor lease compliance, including
the number FTEs, supplies, and services for agencies leasing space from
KCDHS. 13. Coordinate and monitor invoices, purchase orders, and
common/uncommon supply requests related to Central Services at the
Kenosha County Department of Human Services. 14. Oversee the provision

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIREMENTS: 1. Bachelors Degree in
administration, human services, or related field. and/or 2. Three to
five years related work experience. 3. Masters Degree in administration,
human services, or related field preferred. 4. Credentials in safety
related disciplines. CORE COMPETENCIES: 1. Knowledge of comprehensive
workplace best practices. 2. Ability to work independently with little
supervision. 3. Ability to coordinate and facilitate teams for planning,
implementing and problem solving related to various projects and issues.
4. Ability to prepare written reports and document information in a
professional manner using computer applications. 5. Ability to respond
to emergency situations. 6. Ability to devel p and facilitate training
programs. 7. Ability to communicate and work in a professional manner in
a multi-agency environment with all levels of staff and officials. 8.
Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
and use of the Internet. PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS: 1. Repetitive use of
