Responsibilities: Prepare cabinet surfaces for finishing by sanding, filling, and repairing imperfections as necessary. Apply stains, paints, varnishes, and other finishes to cabinetry using spray guns, and other appropriate tools. Ensure consistent and even application of finishes, paying close attention to detail and ensuring a high-quality final product. Use techniques such as glazing, distressing, and antiquing to achieve desired aesthetics and finishes. Follow established finishing processes and procedures, including proper preparation, application, and drying times. Collaborate closely with the cabinet production team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of finishing tasks. Inspect finished cabinets for defects, making any necessary touch-ups or corrections. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and disposal of finishing materials. Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations, utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
