Job Title: Medical Assembler
Job Description
Candidates will typically start in the coiling department/area within the cleanroom. In this area, they will operate coil winding machines at stations, placing coils on a mechanism that winds and wraps them around a spindle for other parts of the medical assembly processes. Initially, there is little to no microscope work. After a few days, candidates will move to the second part of the coiling area, using microscopes about 30-50% of the day to inspect and manipulate wires as needed. The coils are used to make components for medical products such as stents, catheters, and leads. Candidates must be comfortable with both sitting and standing for up to 8 hours. Training usually takes about 1-2 weeks.
