Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Basic Life Insurance Tuition Reimbursement Employer Paid Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability Adoption Assistance Plan Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required Associate Degree in health discipline preferred One year of Occupational Medicine/Health experience preferred Venipuncture experience preferred Respiratory fit testing experience preferred Electrocardiogram testing experience preferred Certified Professional Collector preferred or able to obtain within three months of hire Breath Alcohol Technician Certification for CMI Intoxilyzer 240/240D Evidential Breath Tester preferred or able to obtain within three months of hire NIOSH-approved Spirometry Certification preferred or able to obtain within 18 months of hire Possess understanding of DOT and HHS specimen collection requirements preferred Proficient with computer software and technology Medical terminology training or demonstrated competence Vital sign measurement (training available) Ability to provide exceptional professionalism and customer service skills in accordance with OMC standards and norms BLS certification within 90 days of hire Job Responsibilities: Greets visitors to the department in a professional and friendly manner Conducts drug/alcohol screening Provides on-call drug/alcohol screening service through OMCs after-hours drug screen program Performs venipuncture and specimen processing/packaging for laboratory orders and kit draws Performs spirometry (PFT) testing, respiratory fit testing, and electrocardiogram testing Completes basic rooming standards per departmental guidelines Orders and stocks department supplies Provides clerical support Acts as an employer advocate and facilitates communication between the employer and Occupational Health Services Documents patient information for services performed Maintain understanding of DOT and HHS specimen collection requirements.
