Logistics Coordinator

The Logistics Coordinator will work directly and indirectly with vendors, customers, production personnel and the sales staff to aid in, clarify, and or ensure shipment of production components. This will be accomplished by providing communication, shipping instructions, and the physical movement of products from warehouse to the trucks. Accountabilities: Shipment Preparation/Data Entry Packing/Loading Trucks Transportation Coordination Shipping Documentation Shipping Accuracy Safety/5S Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Product movement within the warehouse Assist with inventory control efforts Generate the shipping and receiving documentation Establish and coordinate schedules with carriers Pull and stage shipments Load and unload trucks Support continuous improvement initiatives Other duties as assigned
