(Morton, IL) Utilize engineering knowledge to lead and drive problem
resolution to ensure quality systems, procedures and instructions meet
Matcor customer requirements, objectives, and regulatory compliance.
Lead 8D problem-solving for all customer-related quality issues,
including tracking and reporting issues and retaining records to ensure
highest possible customer rating for satisfaction and lowest for PPM.
Manage all quality concerns and lead departments in quality system
development and corrective and preventative actions. Develop
relationships with personnel from major OEMs and QA Managers, Directors
and other related leaders. Lead supplier selection and certification.
Monitor statistical process control improvements with manufacturing and
supplier base, manage all APQP-related activities, and monitor all other
quality management system requirements. Lead continuous quality
improvements by supporting strategic deployment model, BEST wheel and
PREP process. Identify opportunities and forecast resources to achieve
quality improvement targets and develop annual Quality business plan and
budget. Report monthly Quality PREP results to top level of business
leadership.
