Electrical Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technicians – Electrical will perform routine and ad hoc maintenance task related to upkeep of production equipment and plant facilities as it relates to their electrical components.

Requirements

Duties/Responsibilities:

– Work with maintenance team to ensure operation and timely maintenance of stamping presses and related machinery.
– Assist in electrical repair and troubleshooting.
– Work with Automation and Process engineering on electrical needs.
– Assist in installation and setup of new equipment.
– Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
– Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines. Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
– Responds quickly to maintenance calls and works efficiently to maximize uptime.
– Perform facility maintenance as needed.
– Participating in safety meetings and training????????????????
– Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures??
– Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

– High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
– Five years related experience required.

Physical Requirements:

– Prolonged periods standing and walking.
– Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
– Must be able to visually inspect machines.
– Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
– Must be able to work in all types of weather, including extremely hot and extremely cold temperatures. ?
