Executive Director-WSET Athens

Executive Director – (THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN CROCKETT TEXAS)
This leadership role involves overseeing the daily operations of the Chamber, engaging with the community, and working to promote local businesses and economic development.
Key Responsibilities:

– Provide leadership
and strategic direction for the Chambers programs and initiatives
– Develop and maintain
strong relationships with local businesses, community leaders, and elected officials
– Oversee and manage
Chamber staff, volunteers, and operations
– Plan, promote, and
execute community events, business seminars, and networking opportunities
– Manage the Chambers
budget, financials, and ensure transparency in all operations
– Spearhead membership
growth and retention efforts
– Advocate for local
business interests and policies that support economic development

Qualifications:

– Proven leadership experience,
preferably within a Chamber of Commerce or similar organization
– Strong communication,
public speaking, and interpersonal skills
– Ability to manage multiple
projects and deadlines
– Experience with budgeting
and financial management
– Knowledge of local,
state, and federal economic policies and business development initiatives
– Proficient in Microsoft
Office, Quick Books, and other relevant software

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in

Business, Marketing, Public Administration, or a related field
