JOB BRIEF:

Customer service representatives provide the customer with direct access via email and the telephone for numerous needs. These include processing electronic orders, handling order changes, and helping answer any questions that the customers may have. Billing, invoicing, and filing are also essential to this position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Process order receiving via EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)

Take orders from customers and company salesmen over the telephone.

Enter orders into the computer for automatic billing and invoicing.

Sorts and separates invoices prior to delivery of product.

Files invoice copies after delivery of products has taken place.

Enter special prices and contracts into computer.

Personally handle customer complaints whenever possible.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Average typing skills required.

Basic computer knowledge required.

Ability to communicate professionally with the customer.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Fast paced and sometimes stressful conditions.

Accurate work is essential.

Professional office attire required.

A positive attitude and good work ethic is necessary.

Overtime may be needed at times.
