Georgia-Pacifics Building Products Division, Lumber Sawmill at GP-Pineland, Texas is seeking to add a well-qualified (on-site) Systems Engineerto work on our team to design, deploy, and optimize high value initiatives at our GP-Pineland Sawmill facility. This role will not only work to transform our business, but also build relationships with site personnel to enable and support the sustainability of the systems deployed. This site is a 24/7-day operation with approximately 330 employees.
We are located 25 miles north of Jasper, Texas. Pineland is east of Lufkin TX (35,000 population), home of Angelina College, and southeast of Nacogdoches, TX (32,000 population) and home of Stephen F. Austin State University. Pineland is located right between beautiful Sam Rayburn Lake and Toledo Bend Reservoir in southeast Texas.
