Imaging Technical Services Coordinator

Full Time, Days

The HTM Imaging department at Texas Health Resources is looking for a top skilled coordinator. Is that you?

Work location: Primarily 612 E Lamar Blvd Arlington Texas 76011 with some remote work.

Work hours: Full Time (40 Hour) Day Shift M-F 7:30-4P

Qualifications – External

Here’s What You Need

Education

· High School Diploma or Equivalent required And

· Associates Degree Associates of Applied Science in Biomedical Technology, Electronics, Information Technology Management, or related field required Or

· Other Successful completion of military BMET training required

Experience

· 5 years servicing diagnostic imaging systems (preferably in hospital setting) required

· In depth understanding in parts order/return process and reconciliation of purchase orders and invoices highly preferred

· Efficiency in Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel highly preferred

Licenses and Certifications

· DL – Drivers License Valid Texas drivers license with acceptable driving record upon hire required And

· Other Completion of Networking Foundation Course 2 years required And

· Other Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET), Certified Laboratory Equipment Specialist (CLES), or Certified Radiology Equipment Specialist (CRES) upon hire preferred And

· Completed OEM technical training in diagnostic imaging to include radiology, mammography, CT, ultrasound, networking, PACS, and/or DICOM preferred

What You Will Do

Technical Service

Responsible for ordering parts and services according to workflows

Responsible for coordinating PMs and CMs with techs and end-users

Assist with loaner and/or exchanges for imaging equipment

Inform manager of the status of repairs, scheduled inspections, unusual equipment situations, and any customer concerns

Work with, direct, and document the activities of subcontractors, vendors, and outside service technicians to ensure proper service delivery for PMs and CMs.

Assist with Service Operations Special Projects as assigned

Regulatory Compliance

· Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the equipment database to include the inventory, performance assurance (PA) schedules, nomenclature, and service history

· Adheres to the Medical Equipment Management Plan (MEMP), including all regulatory agency compliances and other applicable policies and procedures

· Responsible for ensuring all service and documentation is complete, timely, and accurate

Account Relationship Management

· Build and maintain customer relationships

· Discuss equipment status and functionality with clinicians

· Adheres to the Mission, Vision, and Values of the organization(s) served.

Inventory

· Perform periodic inspections of current inventory status

· Verify the completion of security analysis for new customer equipment

· Performs Incoming Inspections (II) to maintain a complete and accurate inventory of medical devices, including trial and evaluation, rental, and loaner equipment in addition to permanently assigned equipment inventory.
