Full Charge Bookkeeper

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Bookkeeping and Accounting:
o Perform full cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts
receivable, and general ledger entries.
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Payroll Processing and Tax Management:
o Proficiency in processing payroll, including payment of payroll taxes to
federal and state agencies.
o Preparation and filing of quarterly and annual payroll forms.

Bank Account Reconciliation:
o Conduct bank account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of
financial records.
Financial Reporting:
o Preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements for outside
accountant review
Tax Compliance:
o Ensure compliance with remitting income, use, and payroll taxes,
ax, and reporting as required.s well
Self-Directed and Pressure Handling:
o Demonstrate a self-starter mentality and the ability to work effectively
under pressure.
Preferred Experience:
Five years of experience as a full charge bookkeeper or education in lieu of
experience. Associates degree in Accounting = two years full charge
experience; Bachelors degree in Accounting equivalent to four years of
full charge experience. At least one year of professional business accounting
experience required. Professional certification is given high priority.

Required skills and abilities:
Strong computer skills to include Excel, Quickbooks (QB On Line
preferred) Experience working independently including the ability to
research information, problem solve effectively and create the processes to
accomplish all the work within traditional accounting timeframes.
Experience in a professional services consulting or construction
environment is preferred.
Written and verbal communication skills and patience to work with
non-accounting professionals collaboratively.
Ability to manage change as the company expands the business model to
meet customer needs.
