The sales department is critical to driving demand and creating strategic partnerships across the industry.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
This is a position on the Wireless Compensation team which consists of two different groups (Commissions and Appeals Escalations). The Business Analyst, Commissions position interacts with internal and external customers to validate Boost payments created for various reasons across the business and push the payment for approvals to be paid. This role requires daily, weekly, and monthly activities to be performed in order to meet compliance requirements. Additionally, this position is very analytical and will require you to understand the payments and data used to make them to make meaningful insights into up and down trends to determine if we have any issues.
As a Business Analyst, you will also need to work on ETL’s to feed data into our various Tableau Dashboards for analysis. This would include working closely with our internal data teams to ensure an accurate load of the data from one platform to another.
Key Responsibilities:
You will leverage/understand DISH Business Rules, Intranet Resources, and front-end tools (ie. CApp, epay, B2B etc.), to research and close inquiries, escalation requests, and answer questions from internal teams and external third-party partners
You are able to navigate and understand data presented in Tableau Dashboards and other reporting to help manage business changes, identify business trends, and provide recommendations to address issues and improve existing processes
You will gain basic knowledge of SQL (select, from, where, joins), understand the function of the query, and be able to verify/analyze the data you have gathered through your query
You will attend and support/lead project meetings and provide insights and feedback where applicable; if the ideas/topics are beyond the scope of your understanding, it is expected that you can summarize all open questions and follow up with your team and manager
You shall maintain professionalism at all times; you will be working with business partners of various backgrounds and levels of business and process acumen; analysts will manage these relationships professionally by clearly establishing and communicating expectations

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree from four-year College or University, or 2 years of relevant work experience
Skills and Qualifications:
Innovative, forward thinking, and detailed oriented
Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload, and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of Google Suite
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn about new concepts and different cultures
Experience with coding in SQL (at minimum, must be able to review SQL)
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $63,150.00/Year – $90,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the roles location and is subject to change based on work location.
