beautiful White Mountains of Northeastern, AZ and offers 4 seasons year
round with plenty of outdoor activities! We are seeking an experienced
Cath Lab Tech to join our team Monday – Friday 7am – 330pm. Our Cath Lab
professionals perform approximately 5 cases per day. No Call & No
weekends & No holidays! Cases include non-complex diagnostic procedures,
PCI, and the occasional STEMI. A knowledge of Volcano/Phillips IVUS and
FFR, Shockwave, and Penumbra preferred but not required. GE fluoro
equipment used for procedures and McKesson/Change Healthcare utilized
for monitoring.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
– Operates all radiographic equipment and assists physician to obtain
the best quality imaging result for each specific adult and/or
geriatric patient.
– Exhibits knowledge of normal and abnormal pathophysiology.
– Maintains proper collation and identification of various forms of
imaging archival systems used in the cath lab
– Assists with completion of pre-and post-procedure cath lab and
patient set up as required for adult patients.
– Maintains proper sterile technique during procedures.
– Monitors and records ECG and pressure waveforms during the
procedure, demonstrating knowledge of normal and abnormal coronary
anatomy and physiology for adult and geriatric patients.
– Records key events occurring during procedures and enters use of
supplies via physiologic computer system.
– Communicates caring, concern and respect to patient, family members,
peers, and physicians.
– Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
– Responds in emergency situations per ACLS protocol and is fully
competent to do so as required.
– Reports equipment malfunctions and documents immediately.
– Follows safety standards in all aspects of performance of the above
essential functions, reports/removes unsafe equipment,
reports/documents occurrences involving patients, and attends safety
in-services.
– Displays proper etiquette and mannerisms that reflect the Shine
Behavior Standards.

Education and/or Experience:
– High School diploma or equivalent (required).
– Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist
(ARRT) (required).
– Current AZ State License (required).
– CPR Certification (required within 30 days of employment).
– Computer experience (required).
– ACLS Certification (required within six months of employment, or at
completion of orientation. Renewal may take up to 30 days after
expiration of original certification).
– Certification in related field (preferred).
– RCIS certification (preferred).
– 1 year special procedures and/or cardiac cath lab experience
(required).
Physical Demands & Job Conditions:
Heavy
Exerts up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs. of
force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move
objects, including the human body. Involves sitting, walking or standin g
for periods of time. The worker is subject to overtime, on-call status,
contact with chemicals, contact with infectious fluids, heavy lifting,
constant standing, computer work, and encounters with upset/disturbed
individuals.
Physical motions include finger dexterity, standing, walking, stooping,
talking, reaching, feeling, sitting, bending, kneeling, grasping,
listening; hearing, handling, lifting up to 50-100 pounds, and
repetitive motions of the hands, wrists, and feet.
