Location: Seal Beach, CA
Shift: M-F Day Shift
Pay: $30-34/Hour DOE

Heres a breakdown of your responsibilities, requirements, and the working conditions:
Responsibilities:
1. Raw Material Testing:
2. Plan, organize, oversee, and perform raw material testing, involving contract testing laboratories, vendors, and warehousing.
3. Communication:
4. Communicate with Quality Assurance and Materials Management departments to ensure timely delivery of test results and issuance of Certificates of Analysis (CoA).
5. Procedure Management:
6. Ensure that raw material standard operating procedures are up-to-date with manufacturers operating manuals and recommendations.
7. Material Specifications:
8. Take responsibility for the revision of material specifications.
9. Non-Conformance Investigations:
10. Participate in non-conformance investigations, providing technical expertise and guidance during material investigations associated with raw materials.
11. Cross-Functional Support:
12. Provide technical expertise and testing support to other departments as part of cross-functional project teams.
13. Raw Material Activities:
14. Support raw material activities such as sample and reagent management.
Job Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent.
Experience:
Typically, 1 year related experience in cGMP/FDA regulated industry.
Experience with raw material testing and release is preferred.
Experience with ANSI sampling and inspection methodology is preferred.
Regulatory Knowledge:
Knowledge of cGMP/QSR and FDA device/drug/biologics regulations.
Skills:
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Equipment and Materials:
Limited use of laboratory equipment, chemicals, and biological materials.
Physical Abilities:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
Intermittent walking to gain access to work areas.
Finger dexterity sufficient to use a computer and complete paperwork activities.
Vision sufficient to use a computer, read written materials, and complete paperwork activities.
Hearing sufficient to communicate with individuals by telephone and in person.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Environmental Conditions:
Job performed in a lab, office, or utility (noisy) environment.
Limited exposure to (2ºC – 8ºC); (-20ºC); (-75ºC); (-196ºC) areas.
Safety Precautions:
Must have the ability to work around laboratories, manufacturing areas, and equipment with exposure to blood, blood products, or OPIM (other potentially infectious materials) while donning required personal protective materials.
