NEOTech is a leading provider of manufacturing technology and supply chain solutions for brand name OEMs in the industrial, medical and military/aerospace markets. The companys headquarters is based in Chatsworth, CA with additional locations in the U.S. and Mexico.

NEOTech is hiring a Corporate Controller. The job is based in the Chatsworth, CA corporate headquarters, however we will consider hybrid hours for the right candidate. The Corporate Controller must be able to manage a team virtually and available for travel.

The salary range is $185k – $200k annually plus a bonus plan. Wage to be determined by the experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with market data.

Summary:

Responsible for recording and maintaining accounting and business records in compliance with GAAP, accounting internal controls, company policies, and governmental/regulatory authorities. Ensure that month end close is completed timely and accurately. Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statement including consolidation worksheet and statement of cash flows.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and time keeping, general accounting.

Prepare Quarterly and Annual Financial reporting package, (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement) including review of consolidation worksheets and subsidiary reporting packages.

Assist in quarterly forecast process.

Analyze / review accounts for unusual fluctuations or improper postings.

Monthly recurring, adjusting, closing journal entries and closing financial statements.

Review Bank account reconciliation, reconciliation of asset (prepaid expenses, fixed assets, etc.) and liability (accrued payroll, vacation, sick leave, expenses, etc.) accounts.

Lead annual financial audit and prepare schedules for year end audit and corporate tax returns.

Prepare real and personal property tax reports, sales tax returns and various other governmental reporting (Census Bureau, etc.).

Interface with workers compensation, sales tax and property tax auditors.

Interface with other departments to enforce accounting integrity/internal control discipline and develop processes as needed.

All other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of integrated general ledger systems inclusive of accounts payable 3-way match processing, accounts receivable processing, and flow of transactions on the financial statements for inventory/COGS

Knowledge of technical accounting skills

Knowledge of payroll processing sufficient to reconcile accounts and handle various taxing issues/correspondence

Cost accounting/Manufacturing industry experience

Good organization and documentation habits

Math and problem solving skills

Proficient in Excel, Word

Detail oriented and accurate

Ability to interface with multiple levels in the organization

Ability to work independently and with little direction on normal recurring work

Very good communication skills succinct, accurate, timely in written and verbal formats. Must be able to communicate GAAP, company policy, and regulatory requirements to non-accounting personnel in a professional and persuasive manner, to include education and training of others.

Some travel may be required

Education/Experience Required:

Bachelor Degree in Accounting or equivalent required, CPA certification is preferred.

5-7 years of experience in a general ledger or financial analyst position with account reconciliation and financial statement preparation background. Public accounting experience is preferred, not required.

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Range: Salary: $185k – $200k annually plus a bonus plan. (Wage to be determined by the experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with market data)
