Job Title: Hanford Chief of Staff (HCS) Management Consulting Support
Location: Hanford Field Office (HFO) and the Hanford Site in Richland, WA
Schedule: Full-time position; position is telework eligible at the discretion of the identified Technical Monitor (TM) in consultation with the Department of Energy (DOE) Contracting Officer (CO). HCS support staff are expected to provide in-office support every Tuesday and one other day per week as agreed upon with the TM. If any additional in-person support is identified as required for any reason and for any length of time by the TM or CO, there is the expectation to report for duty in-person as requested.
Compensation: $85,000.00 to $105,000.00; determined on relevant background experience, years of related professional experience and education requirements.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications Required:
– BS/BA degree in business or engineering field of study either obtained or actively pursuing. A combination of higher-level education and at least two years relevant Hanford experience, may be considered in lieu of the degree.
– Minimum of two years of experience in supporting dashboard development and maintenance of project/program management performance tracking.
– Expert knowledge of Hanford Sites Integrated Contractor Assurance System (iCAS).
– Expert knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Word, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint in addition to other MS tools.
– Proven technical skills plus on-site Hanford experience, education and knowledge to satisfy the stated DOE-Hanford needs of the scope of work (SOW).
Preferred Experience and Capabilities:
– Possess a working-level knowledge and experience with Hanford Site mission, activities and priorities.
– Possess an expert-level knowledge and experience with DOEs program management policies, practices and procedures.
– Demonstrated expertise in utilizing DOEs integrated systems to assist in the development of ad hoc reports for analysis and decision-making needs.
– Possess broad business experience in applying analysis techniques, performing various types of reviews and developing process improvements.
– Possess broad experience in supporting organizations with tracking, monitoring, assessment review and coordination efforts.
– Proven ability to successfully interface with senior-level management.
– Proven ability to work with government and contractor personnel to assist with problem-solving and formulating strategies for success.
– Possess, and can display, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Job Duties:
Utilize specialized business operations experience to conduct tasks with minimal supervision.
Analyze current processes and make recommendations for process improvements to gain efficiencies and provide consistency between organizations.
Support time-sensitive requests for information (RFIs) from regulatory agencies and other stakeholders.
Develop metrics and reports for senior management analysis and decision-making needs.
Provide system support and quality checks, as needed, to ensure data integrity across HFO tracking syste
