Job Description
We are seeking an experienced forward-thinking creative leader dedicated to delivering exceptional work that pushes our brand forward and challenges the limits of creativity. You excel in brainstorming and collaboration, showcasing your versatility in writing across diverse styles and platforms. You thrive on generating bold ideas and are adept at presenting your work, copy, and concepts to clients at any level. You will be responsible for shaping the creative vision of projects, ensuring that our messaging is not only impactful but also aligns with our brand identity and objectives. This role interfaces with various agencies and production arms to bring our new high-level brand vision and seasonal campaigns to life.
On any given day you will…
Manage the creative messaging strategy and direction of high level campaign work within the internal marketing team
Bring an always on, optimistic, collaborative approach to everything you do.
Serve as a campaign department and discipline lead ensuring the continued growth of the team and uniting everyone to push the boundaries of what creativity can be
Help identify the strategic and conceptual direction across various projects, and clearly present those ideas to cross functional teams and c-suite
Has experience building big, campaign platform ideas with tight teams in a fast-moving environment
Is an extremely strong and empathetic leader who can manage multiple projects simultaneously
Has a nurturing approach to team members and is committed to building on their ideas and encouraging progression through clear feedback and guidance
Has ample experience working with and presenting to stakeholders of all levels including C-suite
Has experience working collaboratively with multiple internal teams.
Has outstanding oral, written, and presentation skills
Oversees development of top line creative concepts for all GNC campaigns both brand and promotional/seasonal campaigns as specified in briefs provided by various business partners
Maintains a solid reporting line to VP of Creative and other senior leadership. Provides support and clear communication to the senior team on current initiatives, while ensuring work is creatively outstanding -yet meets all proposed objectives. Manages all projects to a specific operating budget, and provides input upfront to help determine those allocations.
Initiates high level brainstorming / retail campaign development sessions. Provides oversight during concept phases to ensure ideas integrate and translate within digital, print, social, broadcast and all traditional and non-traditional media. Acts as the creative catalyst for the brand, driving the expression of the brand in all marketing channels
Direct the execution of creative retail campaigns across all mediums print, crm, display, web and social. Partner with Project Managers, Merchants, other Creative Team members and Agencies to optimize outputs. This includes Messaging, conceptual design, typography, layout, photography.
Leads and collaborates with outside agency or freelance creative resources for outside concept development as required.
Reviews all final creative pieces and ensures quality, efficiency and accuracy.
Supports usage, updating and maintenance of Brand Guidelines

Recruit, train, develop, retain and manage the creative copy team. Supervise the Creative, Copy and Digital team managers. Identify and develop talent, fostering a culture of creative excellence and collaborative spirit.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess 10-15 years of experience in creative roles within ad agency or retail teams, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity managing a team.
Proven track record of delivering creative marketing solutions that drive strategy to support merchandising, marketing and branding goals
Demonstrated ability to multi-task effectively under pressure, meet timelines and balance speed and quality within a fast paced setting with changing priorities.
Innovative, solution-based thinker who proactively identifies opportunities to help a creative team look at things differently.
Detail-oriented with clear understanding of overall objectives and strong sense of ownership
Strong presentation skills and ability to respond well to critical feedback.
Ability to instruct, direct, and evaluate employees.
Ability to predict project requirements, anticipates potential problems, and proposes solutions.
Articulate, patient and tenacious, thriving in a high job volume environment

Licenses and Certifications:Technical Skills:Presentation software: Pitching is a must in this role, must be agile in a preferred software (powerpoint, google slides, keynote, canva, prezi, etc)
Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) at the design and production level.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
