Major Responsibilities
SUNY Adirondack is actively recruiting to onboard an Adjunct faculty member for the Media Arts AAS degree program. In this position, the candidate could teach Graphic Design, Photography or related Digital Media courses. Successful candidates must have expertise in a range of topics in the subject areas and have a flexible schedule. Expected start date of Spring 2025 and Fall 2025.
Required Skills
Applicants should have the appropriate knowledge and training in the course subjects along
with excellent interpersonal skills. Familiarity with the use of technology in a Mac-based
classroom is preferred.
Educational Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Photography, or Digital Media as well as current
knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud is required. Applicants should be familiar with equipment
used within the industry including various cameras, printers, and computers.
Salary
Adjuncts’ salary is based on the number of contract hours per semester, remunerated at the
rate of $1,185 per contract hour in a semester.
