We are looking for a Long Term Substitute Special Education Teacher for the Middle/High School beginning November 12, 2024 to December 20, 2024.

We are looking for certified and highly qualified and experienced candidates.

Valid NYS Teacher Certification – Students with Disabilities Generalist 7-12

Enthusiastic and Passionate about Working with all Students

Ability to work Collaboratively with Co-Professionals

Ability to Communicate Effectively with students and parents

Competent in Completing Assessments and Reporting as Appropriate

Able to Write, Interpret and Administer IEPs

Plan for, Provide, and Document Instruction for SWDs

Understand NYS mandates for Individual Education Plans

Provide Instruction for SWDs Consistent with NYS Standards and NYS Regulations

Preferred experience in Middle/High School and Transition planning.
