Program Analyst Sr Advisor
GDIT is looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst for our Worldwide Field Support contract.
How the Sr. Financial Analyst will make an impact:
Responsible for performing specialized financial activities following general project or departmental guidelines and procedures in support of various functions such as budgeting, auditing and financial planning.
Determines cost of operations and collects operational data. Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
Program Financial Analyst Sr. on a worldwide contract with hundreds of funding customers and thousands of funding lines.
Responsible for supervising a staff of program analysts.
Responsible for complex tasks in various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting and analysis.
Prepare monthly forecast, risk assessment and variance analysis to senior management.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Provide financial leadership to the business, helping drive profitable growth.
Responsible for weekly and monthly financial contract deliverable.
Monitor contract burn rates and funding to ensure sufficient funds available.
Tracks, captures and monitors the funding, expenditures, commitments, and labor hours accrued to date by system, location, line of accounting, and CLIN
Reviewing contracts and modifications, understanding contract terms, and support contract setup. Experience of handling complicated CECOM/SEC mods with thousands of contract lines and ACRNs
Provide information to support the creation of the monthly financial report to the corporate financial analysts. Works with the corporate financial analysts to resolve financial issues, subcontractor/vendor issues and addressing financial inquiries and provides ad-hoc reporting as necessary
Liaison between Operations and other administrative support organizations on financial issues. Interface with subcontractors, vendors, and customers as required
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Bachelors degree or additional 5 equivalent finance experience.
Required Experience: 5 years of related experience
Required Technical Skills: Experience with MS Office Products including Word and Excel.
Required Skills and Abilities: Budgeting, financial analysis, or providing financial support at the program or corporate level. Strong organization and time management skills, Good written and verbal communication skills. Analytical skills and problem-solving ability. Attention to Detail. Advanced Excel Skills. Experience with Oracle and OBIEE.
Preferred Skills: Government Contract experience.
Location: Preferred location Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD but will consider remote candidates.
The likely salary range for this position is $122,366 – $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
