The Administrative Coordinator performs a variety of duties for units in the Visual & Performing Arts that are complex in nature and require a high level of initiative, accuracy, and judgement to support effective operation.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee Faculty Load and Compensation process to ensure timely and accurate payment to all full-time and part-time faculty.

Prepare course scheduling in Banner.

Supervise building space to include assigning classrooms, assisting with PDC Projects, completing maintenance requests, and managing offices and common areas.

Oversee office and classroom equipment and supplies.

Provide support to department chairs and complete special projects as needed.

Communicate clearly and professionally both internally and externally from departments.

Cross-train duties to provide departmental and college support when necessary.

Other duties as assigned.

Additional Theatre & Dance Duties include:

Manage student workers to include hiring, onboarding, scheduling, approving timesheets and overseeing duties.

Provide support for recruiting, retention, and outreach events.

Update calendar website and social media with new events and information.

Schedule tours for potential students.

Job Requirements:

Two-year post-secondary education, plus two years related administrative experience OR HS diploma or GED, plus four years administrative experience.

Additional Information:

Hourly Rate: $17.10 – $17.44
