Job Title: Field Service EngineerJob Description
Installs new or modified equipment at customers facility to ensure full functionality. Reviews performance reports and documentation from customers and field representatives. Inspects malfunctioning or damaged product to determine nature and scope of problem. Determines source of problem and recommends repair and replacement. Coordinates problem resolution with engineering. Reviews machine designs and engineering drawings. Provides on-site technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair equipment. Analyzes reports of technical problems to determine trends affecting future design, production, service, and processes. Develops service handbooks and bulletins based on engineering changes. Provides a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is provided. Tuition reimbursement Will travel up to 75 percent.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Cleveland, Ohio.
Work Environment
Very large, clean manufacturing space attached to multi-story office building. When not traveling, time will be spent troubleshooting equipment. Work schedule includes 10-12 hour days; if working over 40 hours, time and a half will be paid. Majority of jobs will be 3 days at a time, with some up to 2 weeks (not common). Travel 2-3 weeks each month, throughout the US, some to Mexico and Canada.
