Controls Engineer

Exciting Controls Engineer Opportunity!!

Job Description

6am – 2pm Monday – Friday. Coverage for one Saturday every month, occasionally two Saturdays.

You will provide plant support for a customer in Solon, OH.

Responsibilities include:

– Plant controls support

– Modifying, troubleshooting, and programming control systems onsite

– HMI development

– RSLogix 5000

Skills & Qualifications

MUST HAVE:

– Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field

– 3 years of experience with either Plant Controls, Controls Engineering, or Controls Technician roles

– Significant, recent Allen Bradley experience with RS Logix 5000

– Some exposure to HMI development

– STRONG troubleshooting and programming capabilities within Allen Bradley RS Logix 5000

– Control Logix, ControlLogix

– Network controls

– Ability to use MS Teams

– Ability to climb ladders, stand for long periods of time, and walk around the customer facility for 12 hour shifts

– Demonstrate proper hygiene, with this facility being FDA regulated

PLUS:

– Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field

– Ability to program Allen Bradley RS Logix 5000 from scratch

– Systems integration

– Food industry experience

P&ID control loop tuning
