Duties
The IT Senior Analyst, OTC leads regional or local projects, solutions and/or processes of medium-to-high complexity within the Order-to-Cash function. Participates actively on committees representing inter/intra IT organizations. Identifies, quantifies and prioritizes solutions to address business and technical issues; influences and negotiates to achieve business strategy and deliver results to internal/external partners; and functions as leader and subject matter expert in one or more of the following capacities: functional, technical, and/or project management. Researches and validates innovative solutions (both external and internal), leveraging best practices for quality and process efficiencies. In addition, this role leads assignments and/or maintains systems of medium to large complexity, with responsibilities that include: requirements definition, solution design, configuration, test execution/coordination, solution implementation, and support.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: acquire and maintain an in-depth understanding of current business processes, data architecture, applications and technical infrastructure; meet regularly with business partners to understand and document business processes & new business initiatives; collaborate with business partners to identify opportunities for business process improvements; assist business partners with getting value from existing systems solutions; manage small projects and enhancements as needed following established IT PMO processes; supervise consultant/contractor activities as needed; align work with all appropriate regulatory, compliance and quality assurance processes; proactively enforce worldwide and local security policies to ensure IT information assets are protected; consistently apply the concepts of appropriate standard methodologies and best practices; lead business requirements sessions for new project initiatives and deliver formal documents for review and approval; perform fit/gap analysis of business requirements and current or targeted solutions capabilities; develop functional design specifications; collaborate with developers to convert functional designs specifications into technical design specifications; facilitate/Participate in user acceptance test events; ensure that appropriate project and system documentation is completed and stored as required; facilitate promotion of system changes by following approved change control processes; troubleshoot data and application problems, perform root cause analysis, and resolve customer issues in a timely manner; serve as the key analyst for software applications used by the business and be the primary point of contact for support issues; interface with suppliers and vendors as needed to evaluate software, hardware or services and make recommendations.
Requirements – Education and Experience
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or related.
Must have 5 years of experience working as a Systems Analyst.
Must have 5 years of experience with the following: fundamental Order-to-Cash business processes; Order Management (Standard Order, Credit Memos, Debit Memos, Return Orders, Cash Sale, Free of Charge); Pricing (List Price, Discounts, Freight Pricing, Rebates and Taxes); Available to Promise (Availability Check, Product Allocation, Stock Availability); Billing (Order Related Billing, Delivery Related Billing, Consolidated Billing); Service and Repairs (In-house repairs, Depot Repairs, Quotations, Contracts and Recall); SAP Order-to-Cash functional experience required; Configuration of Organizational Structure (Sales and Distribution Perspective); Configuration of Document types; Configuration of Item Categories; Configuration of Schedule line Categories; Configuration of ATP (Available to Promise); Configuration of Pricing procedure and components; Configuration of Copy Controls; Configuration of Billing types; Configuration of Delivery types.
Travel Expectations
Up to 10% of domestic travel required.
Telecommuting work arrangement permitted: position may work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Remote work permitted up to 5 days per week throughout the U.S.
