Capital Assets Administrative Project Manager

SUMMARY
The responsibility of this position is to serve as an advisor to capital management on the evaluation of the effectiveness of programs and operations. The Capital Assets Administrative Project Manager role will encompass various functions and activities associated with program and project planning, assisting procurement, cost tracking, budgeting, performance tracking, supporting the financial and regulatory audits, and evaluation with the Capital/Moderation Team. The Capital Assets Administrative Project Manager will also assist in the development of policies and standards for in-house programs and projects, cross-functional project management support and coordination, and business process support functions. They also develop plans, coordinate project scheduling, budgeting, and perform administrative tasks.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
§ Masters Degree (Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Policy, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Urban Studies, or a closely related field)
§ Project Management Certification desired
§ Previous experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2012, and 2016, Office preferred.
§ Program and Performance – Minimum 5 years
§ Grants – Minimum of 5 years
§ Project Management- Minimum of 5 years
§ Non-For-Profit/Government — Minimum of 5 years
§ For-Profit Experience — Minimum of 4 years
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
§ Must have or be able to acquire a valid state drivers license
§ Must pass federal, state, and local criminal investigation clearances, and pass a drug screening test administered by the Commission or its designated provider §
§ Must be insurable under the agencys insurance policy
KNOWLEDGE
§ Knowledge of Housing & Urban Development Public Housing regulations and policies pertinent to the department
§ Knowledge of DHC and departmental policies, procedures, and goals

§ Knowledge of standard office procedures, filing, and standard office equipment, including computer, fax, copier, telephone system
