Job Title: Installation Technician

Job Description

As a Furniture Installer, you will work in the construction industry, completing furniture installation to specification. You may mount cabinets, cubbies, counters, or bookshelves before business occupancy. Duties and responsibilities include delivering and assembling furniture on a commercial job site, following blueprints and instructions, loading and unloading the truck, and maintaining a safe and clean workspace. You will use hand and power tools daily and be responsible for the assembly, disassembly, reassembly, and delivery/installation of modular office furniture systems. Additional tasks include reviewing floor plans, problem-solving, inspecting furniture per manufacturer’s guidelines, and adhering to company policies.

Skills

1 year of hand and power tools experience

Ability to read a tape measure

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Hiawatha, Iowa.

Work Environment

7am-4:00pm Monday through Friday. Weekends will be on a volunteer basis and planned 30 days ahead of time. The role requires a customer-focused attitude and the willingness to complete projects on budget, on time, with no hassle or disruption.
