Machinist

Looking For Manual Lathe Operators

$20 – $25 DOE

Job Duties:

Set up and operate manual lathes

Use precision measuring instruments, such as gauges, calipers, micrometers

Read and interpret blueprints to ensure compliance with customer specifications and tolerances

Hold tolerances within .0001

Efficiently operate and monitor 2 machines at a time

Maintain and perform minor repairs on machinery

Qualifications:

Valid drivers license reliable transportation

2 years of manual machining experience

Multi-tasking

Ability to work independently

Precision measurements

Shop math

Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted

Ability to stand, walk, crouch, kneel, bend for extended periods of time

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
